Social Worker – Fostering Assessments
Exciting positions have arisen for Social Workers to join the Fostering Assessments team
Sandwell Children’s Trust are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering Assessment Team.
The Role
You will have a relevant professional qualification in social work, together with valid SWE registration. You will also have experience of undertaking assessments of potential foster carers. A good knowledge of the fostering regulations, childcare law and safeguarding issues is essential. You will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will need to be flexible and have the capability to use your initiative and work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met and to enable the smooth running of the service.
| Salary | £35,409 – £39,761* per annum plus the possibility of up to £6,500 relocation allowance and access to excellent employee benefits |
| Work Pattern | We have full-time (37 hours) & part-time roles available and are happy to discuss options. |
